PHOENICIA, Berytus. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (23mm, 7.48 g, 12h). Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Dionysus standing facing, head left, holding rhyton and thyrsus; reclining panther at feet to left, vine tendril(?) in exergue. Sawaya 1086 (D380/R803) = McClean 9473. Near VF, earthen green patina.
